Reneé Rapp is weighing in on a lesbian debate that has raged on for years — is scissoring real?

The "Pretty Girls" singer recently chatted with Anania Williams for a @gaydar.show segment on TikTok, answering important questions like "What gay celebrity would Regina George date today?" and "How are femme and masc lesbians’ thirst traps different?"

At one point, Williams asked Rapp which of her tattoos is the gayest. The answer was, of course, the ink she got on her arm of two scissors intertwined. And that led to a follow-up question about whether or not scissoring is real — something Rapp apparently has very strong feelings about.

"Yes, scissoring is real!" she declared. "And I debate this every day of my life."

Whatever conversations the Mean Girls star gets herself into that lead to perpetual debates about scissoring sound kind of fantastic, if a little exhausting. Shouldn’t we have put the scissoring debate to bed by now?? Still, it certainly comes as no surprise that the woman who brought giant scissors to adorn the stage during her Coachella performance is on the right side of history here.

Rapp standing up for scissoring truthers was certainly a highlight of her interview, but she dropped quite a few other amusing tidbits throughout the two and a half minutes — from talking about Beyoncé’s ass with her mom to admitting it’s "so common" when asked how many closeted celebrities she knows.

"But I want the NBA boys to be gay," she added.
